I published a post last month about home energy audits, but recently got a newsletter from my electric company with an article containing even more good news for Oregonians looking to weatherize their homes. If your family meets the income guidelines, you will qualify for a program that provides funding for weatherization work to be done on your home at no cost to you. Click here for more information.
The program is primarily federally funded, so people outside of Oregon should check with their local utilities or their state government's website to find out what types of similar programs are available.
